Part 1 – Knowledge Transfer for GIPS Beginners & Intermediaries
Join us for an engaging session designed specifically for GIPS beginners and intermediaries! This comprehensive introduction covers the fundamentals of GIPS compliance, the institutional framework, performance and risk measurement, and includes a practical example of the GIPS compliance process in daily business operations.
Part 2 – Performance Attribution Today: Developments and Challenges
An insightful session on the latest developments and challenges in performance attribution - this strategic update will feature a special address by Carl Bacon, a renowned authority in performance measurement and attribution and a panel discussion.
This session is recommended for both seasoned GIPS professionals and those new to the standards, providing an opportunity to enhance your understanding and stay updated on key trends.

Carl Bacon, a founding member of the GIPS® standards and a key contributor to performance measurement, served as past Chair of the GIPS Executive Committee and on the advisory board of the Journal of Performance Measurement. He is the author of several leading books on performance and risk-adjusted measurement.
Target audience
The GIPS Day is aimed at employees of asset managers, banks and other financial intermediaries, in particular persons working in the following fields: GIPS Office, Performance Measurement, Risk Reporting, Risk Management, Risk Control, Investment Advisory, Legal & Compliance, Internal Audit, Public Policy / Governmental Affairs, Client Advisors, Marketing (Asset Management, Private Banking) as well as representatives of Asset Managers, Audit Firms, Consultants, Pension Funds, Trusts, Family Offices, Software Providers and Securities Dealers.
The first part of the GIPS Day (08.45 am – 04.00 pm) focuses on the content and the institutional framework of the GIPS Standards and is especially aimed at “GIPS Beginners”.
The second part of the GIPS Day (04.00 pm – 07.15 pm) provides information on recent developments, key changes as well as strategic updates from the GIPS Committee with a special view on the Asset Owner perspective. This part is recommended for “GIPS Beginners” as well as for “GIPS Experts”.
Language
The working language will be English (no simultaneous translations).

Only Part (II): CHF 100.- (members and non-members)

Cancellations must be received in written to office@am-switzerland.ch by 05 December 2025. Cancellations received after this date are subject to a cancellation fee of 100%. Thank you for your understanding.
